How often are you frustrated because you cannot remember something, or simply cannot think the way you could in the past?  It brings up the topic of whether there are ways that you can keep you brain in better shape; can you slow down the aging process? Or do we just simply slow down and there is nothing we can do about it?

Here are two interesting articles that approach the topic from different angles.  The first is from the Harvard Health Blog, written by Heidi Godman, entitled  Regular exercise changes the brain to improve memory, thinking skills.

The second article discusses the popular online brain training sites, to see how effective these programs could be if used on a regular basis.  It is from the British Publication “The Observer”; Elizabeth Day asks the question: Online Brain Training: Does it Really Work?

Staying sharp has many advantages to a better life – and this recommendation is not taken lightly by your financial advisor!
